So I knew that my weekend was going to be extremely busy starting on Thursday. Between home work, bowling, and Jess's Promo shoot, not to mention Easter. Friday night was a BLAST. I got to hang out with some folks that I haven't hung out with in a REALLY long time. We did some major drinking and a lil bowling LOL. Thank you ladies for setting it up and making it happen. I am glad you guys got to officially meet Jess, and hope we all have many more memories to come.
Saturday, Saturday of Saturday...It started off a lil rough with us running late to get to Vallejo. I had to shoot Jess for his promo shots and wanted to be in Vallejo by 12. yeah somehow that translated to 2. Luckily My boyfriend had it all figured out and we did not waste too much time. We got there and got busy.
When we were leaving Vallejo we had discussed going to Berkley Adidas so That I can go say what's up to Neil, but at that point by the time we would have gotten there he would have been wrapping up. We got a call from Dre saying not to worry about Pooka she was gonna keep her til bedtime to enjoy our day...so Jess was like well you wanna go to the city and just walk Haight. I said sure why not. We got to the city and stopped for a photo op in front of Grooves.
We get to Haight Park by McDonald's, walk to True clothing store. We are there for a minute looking at their shirts. I look up and who is it.....NEIL ARMSTRONG....I really wanted to jump for joy but kept my composure LOL...asked how his gigs were going etc...and got my oh so patiently waited for copy of Sweet p2. What a day...It Ended with me getting home and my baby girl gets home and shows me all the things she got to do that day. She starts by telling me about the pony she rode on and how she wasn't scared and then she showed me her Easter basket and the cake and eggs she got to make and color with her titi Dre.
