A few days ago I came to the conclusion that I love the fact that I am having a boy. Not from the ooohhhh I have a boy and a girl factor, but more so from the fact that my children can never be compared. One of my biggest fears was that Ariyana would be lost in the uproar our new life will be taking when the baby is born. She would get unintentionally put on the back shelf, while every one including Jess admired the new little one. People would find it easy to say stuff like well Ariyana was/wasn't doing this at this age etc. The fact that we are having a boy allows me to keep the sacred chapters in my life sacred, while starting new chapters. Our children can never be compared, they are entirely different, not just in the fact that they have different dad's, but also in the fact that they are different in gender! Who would have thought this was ever something that would come to mind?
